Created in 2020 with one vision: a space where people can share their passion for cycling, accessories and ridiculously cool apparel, and gather for group rides, shop talk and a proper Italian espresso.
The Wheelhouse opened in Marda Loop in 2020 around a single idea: a space where people could share their passion for cycling, and where a proper espresso was part of the offer rather than an afterthought.
It was the first shop in Canada to run the IDmatch fitting system — a marker-less scan that reads the rider, matches the current position, sets cleats and foot position, and finishes with saddle pressure mapping against a database of several thousand bikes. The fit takes two hours, and the rider leaves with a report they can take anywhere.
The floor is unapologetically Italian: Colnago, Basso, De Rosa, Passoni, Sarto, Cicli Barco, Battaglin and Officine Mattio, with Bastion from Australia alongside. Club rides, Strava and Zwift groups, camps and tours are all part of it.
