Cookie Policy

This page lists the cookies swi-cycling.com places on your device, what each one does and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others tell us how the site is being used, or whether an advert led someone here.

Webflow

Our site is hosted on Webflow, which sets session cookies required for pages, forms and security to function. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our enquiry and configurator forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated bots. It sets a short-lived token while that check runs.

Google Analytics 4

Two cookies, _ga and _ga_SV1YBYC7ME, both set by Google and both lasting two years. They record how the site is used — which pages are visited, how long for, and whether you arrived from a search engine, an advert or a direct link — so we can understand what is worth building more of.

We look at this data in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell it.

Google Ads conversion linker

One cookie, _gcl_au, set by Google and lasting 90 days. It allows us to see whether a visit that began with one of our adverts went on to become an enquiry. A matching entry, _gcl_ls, is stored in your browser’s local storage rather than as a cookie.

Some pages embed video and social content from YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. When one of those embeds loads, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control. Embeds only load on the pages that use them.

Every major browser lets you see which cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block them in future — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not affect how this site works. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across every site you visit by installing Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
