The Rose & Crown is a fitting studio in Costa Mesa run by Ashley Knights Jr., a former elite professional who moved into full-time coaching in 2011 and has since worked with Olympic and World Championship riders, national champions and world record holders.
The fit is the product. It runs on a Purely Custom Fit Bike Pro 1, supported by a forefoot measuring device, laser and joint tracking, a goniometer, and 3D-printed wedges and lifts, with G8 custom insoles included. Their own description is the most comprehensive fitting done anywhere, included in every bike purchase.
The range is small and deliberate — Factor, Time, Cadex, ENVE and SWI — because the bicycle is chosen after the position, not before it.
Every bike they sell comes with the fit. For a frame laid up around one rider, that is the only sensible way to buy.
