In Velo Veritas is Sacramento's road and gravel shop, in the Heywood Building downtown, drawing riders from Sacramento, Folsom, Davis and Elk Grove. Their stated philosophy is plain enough: if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.
That shows in how they sell bicycles. Every bike bought there includes a fit, and they build from the frame up rather than handing over something off the peg. Wheel builds, dynamo installations and custom builds are quoted individually; servicing runs from a wash through to a full comprehensive overhaul with new cables, housing and bar tape.
Frames on the floor include Pinarello, OPEN, Ritte, Wilier, Factor, Cipollini, Battaglin, Colnago and Cervélo.
A shop that builds from the frame up rather than out of a box — which is the only way a SWI ever arrives.
