A boutique cycling studio built around precision, mastery, and one-on-one attention.
Category One Cycles is Rob DeRosato's studio in Lansdale, Pennsylvania — appointment-only by design, so that every client gets the whole room rather than a slot between walk-ins. He built bicycles piece by piece in his own time for years before opening it.
It is a build shop above all: a full custom build from a bare frame, a frame swap and component transfer, electronic groupset configuration, and a service menu priced line by line from a bar tape change to an annual bearing inspection.
The frames alongside SWI are Mosaic, Factor, Pinarello, Time, Look, Basso and Lee Cougan, with VeloColour on hand when a build calls for its own paint.
One builder, one bicycle at a time, by appointment. That is how we work too.
